A 100 year old industry was about to be disrupted by a major leap in technology.  

THE CHALLENGE:

Hiram Maxim invented the "silencer" in the early 1900s, and for over a century every manufacturer used a variation of his baffle design to block gases from a fired round and suppress the noise of the gunshot.  

Unfortunately, the drawbacks  to this design - like the blowback of toxic gas in the shooter's face, eyes and lungs, and ear damaging decibels at the shooter's ear - were increasingly felt by military, law enforcement and sport shooters.  

OSS Suppressors patented Flow-Through® technology allows the gases from a round to move through the suppressor -expanding, cooling and exiting out the muzzle - while dramatically reducing sound and blowback for the shooter.
